Award winning director John Vogel was born in Bath, Ohio, USA in 1964. From an early age, he aspired for a career in the entertainment industry and attended both The Ohio State University and Berklee College of Music on scholarships. After moving to Los Angeles, several jobs in production proved to be his launching point into acting which eventually led to directing.



He quickly progressed and was directing music videos, commercials and by 2003 directed several television pilots. In 2004, he co-produced the critically acclaimed, Blue Neon Night - Michael Connelly's Los Angeles, a film/documetary staring William Petersen(CSI) and best selling novelist, Michael Connelly.

After participating in a celebrity event for the Special Olympics of Northern California, he turned his talents toward helping the hugely successful non-profit, producing and directing several "awareness" videos over the past 4 years. Over the last few years, John has immersed himself in New Media, producing and directing webisodes and the emerging 3D "No-Glasses" technology, working directly with the technology creator, Philips Electronics.

Other directing credits include The Mix Masters, Magnetico, Wyle International, Princess Cruises, and has finished co-writing the feature film, DOGPIT.
